1978 -   Coats Patons/Family Circle Craft Award.

1979 -   First major exhibition at the Sale Regional Arts Centre.

1980 -   Crafts-In-Gear - “International Year of the Child”, a maternity dress - purchased by the Crafts Board of the Australia Council for the national travelling exhibition.

1980 -   Winner of the Hoechst Australia Ltd. Textile Award in the Australian Crafts 1980 Centenary Exhibition at the Meat Market Craft Centre, Melbourne.

1980 -   “Bush Jacket” purchased by the National Gallery of Victoria.

1980 -   Appointed to the Council of the Crafts Council of Victoria.

1980 -   Steering Committee member, then Committee member of the Gippsland             Division of the Crafts Council of Victoria.

1982 -   Presented to King Carl Gustaf XVI of Sweden - Centrepoint, Sydney.

1982 -   Tutor - “Fibre Forum” conference at Hall’s Gap.

1983 -   Participant of Craft Board of Australia exhibition in London (N.S.W. House), Scotland, Hong Kong, Japan and Sydney - “Australia Craft 1983.

1983 -   Winner of the A.F.T.A. “Thread Affair”.

1984 -   Tutor, Australia Pacific Embroidery Festival, Sydney.

1984 -   Historical Bas Relief Bronze commission from the City of Sale.

1985 -   Enterprise Award - Victoria’s 150th Celebrations - Hoechst/Meat Market Craft Centre, Melb.

1987 -   Tutor - Gippsland Summer School of Art and Textiles.

1987 -   Tutor - Gwen Webb Arts Activity Centre, Sale.

1987 -   Designer of Pictorial Postmarker, Sale, for Australia Post.

1987 -   Bronze Commission for the Bishop of Sandhurst, Bendigo - “Dr. Henry Backhaus D.D”.

1988 -   Awarded the Order of Australia Medal (O.A.M.) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

1988 -   Wildlife Artists Society of Australasia Inc. - Winner of the Textile Art Award sponsored by Penguin Threads Pty. Ltd. and Husqvarna Pty. Ltd.

1988 -   Presented to Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands - Como House, Melbourne.

1991 -   Foreword in “The Art of Machine Embroidery” by Kristen Dibbs.

1992 -   Annemieke Mein Gallery established in the Tourist Information Centre, Sale.

1993 -   Annemieke Mein Gallery opened August 1993 in the Sale Regional Art Gallery (now called Gippsland Art Gallery, Sale) - a permanent and rotating exhibition of textile works.

1993 -   “The Art of Annemieke Mein Calendar”, 1994,1995 and 1997, published by Viking/Penguin.

1993 -   Designed wine labels for Narkoojee Winery (proprietors Val and Harry Friend).

1993 -   Release of “Thornbills” (limited edition prints) to aid The Continuing Education Centre, Sale.

1993 -   Portrayed on the cover of the 051 Telephone Book.

1994 -   Bronze commission for the Bishop of Gippsland, Sale - “Mary MacKillop”.
