Annemieke’s book, “The Art of Annemieke Mein: Wildlife Artist in Textiles” was first published in 1992 by Viking/Penguin Books Australia and later by Search Press (U.K). It has been reprinted over 20 times and distributed to several countries.
The book contains 170 pages and features 60 textile works (wallworks and sculptures) with full colour plates, artist’s notes on her inspiration, flora and fauna studies, sketches, techniques and methods employed (including fabric painting, dyeing, stitching, quilting etc.)
The book had been out of print, but was republished by Search Press in 2019 in hardcover in the Search Press Classics Series, so it is currently available (ISBN 9781782217657).
